Trade Scholarship
OVERVIEW

Eligibility:
1) Applicant must be a graduating female high school student entering an accredited technical school in the U.S.
2) This scholarship is being offered to those only pursuing a skilled construction trade degree or certification.
3) Student must enroll as a full-time student to receive award.
Requirements:
1) Applicant is responsible for ensuring all items below and any necessary attachments are submitted to the NAWIC Scholarship Committee. Complete all sections of this application by type or print using black ink. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
a) Completed, signed application.
b) Official transcript of grades.
c) Written recommendations.
d) Student Organization/Extracurricular Listing

Awards:
1) Scholarship is non-renewable. Funds will be directly distributed to the school of choice.
2) The Scholarship Committee of the NAWIC Capital District Chapter #261 will review all complete applications to determine an award recipient. The committee will consider the applicant’s interest in construction, grades, extra-curricular activities, employment experience and written recommendations.
3) Applicants may be subject to a personal interview with the Scholarship Committee.
